Proud sponsor of The American Cancer Society Daffodil Day Program
Moore Research Services, Inc. is proud to sponsor The American Cancer Society’s 36th Daffodil Day Program this year. The campaign will launch on January 22, 2009 at Bel Aire Hotel at 12 NOON. The fundraiser, which historically coincides with the coming of spring, is expected to raise $89,000 locally and more than four million dollars in the state of Pennsylvania.
“I am very excited to support the American Cancer Society during the 36th annual Daffodil Days campaign this year in Erie,” said Colleen Mezler, this year’s Co-chairperson. “I know that the fight against cancer can be won starting right here in our community by raising money for the American Cancer Society’s mission through donations received for daffodils.”
The daffodil is the first flower of spring, and is the perennial American Cancer Society symbol of hope for cancer patients throughout the community. The new Gift of Hope component of Daffodil Days allows donors to support the Society’s mission by delivering an anonymous, free bouquet of daffodils along with program and services information to cancer patients in hospitals and treatment centers across Pennsylvania. Multiple donation levels are available to help patients and their families.
For more information call the American Cancer Society office at 814-866-5174. Pre-orders start now until Monday, February 23; daffodils will be delivered the week of March 16-22, 2009.
